You can use band aid or clone to fix or remove things that you do not want in your picture. You can clone by pressing S. When you clone you copy a small part of the image and then past it over another. You can use the band aid by pressing J. With it you drag the band aid over what you want to remove.  The top picture is an original and the bottom one is a altered version.
