Eve- Shutter Speed

The shutter speed refers to the length of time that the shutter of the camera is open. The longer the shutter speed, the more light that is let into the camera lens. For this picture of Rome at night I used a shutter speed of 1 second to allow for more light. I also made my diaphragm at 4.5 because the subject and background is so dark.
