Eve- Wide Angle vs. Telephoto Lens

This shows two perspectives. The top photograph is a wide angle lens (24mm), and shows more of the scenery because the images are squeezed into the frame. The bottom photograph is a telephoto lens (55mm), and has the primary focus on the subject. The background is blurry while using the telephoto lens because it has a shorter depth of field.
